PAS Tiada Kaitan Dengan Tindakan Anwar: Haron Din Menipu Diri Sendiri

OPEN WAR WITH PAS, ANWAR IS DESPERATE TO STRENGTHEN DAP’S TRUST

Now it is an open war between PAS and PKR, the two parties that had worked together to deprive BN of several Malay seats in the 2008 general election.

The war is expected due to the differences in their political ideologies – one is Islamic fundamentalism and the other liberal – two ingredients that cannot mix even in a cooking pot.

The fundamentalists in PAS, comprising the veterans, have been quietly defending the fort while watching closely Anwar Ibrahim's men, who have been planted to undermine the party, taking positions of authority in the party during past party elections.

Along the way, these liberals, who are supposed to steer the party struggles from fundamentalism to lslamic liberalism, knocked out several die-hards such as Datuk Hassan Ali and Nasharuddin Mat Isa.

The fundamentalists, headed by party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, have been putting up with the liberals, knowing who is behind them and knowing what they are aiming for.

For sometime, they waited and watched, hoping for the liberals to have some respect towards them, have some decorum in scrambling for positions, but what they saw is 'hungry intellectuals side-stepping religious and normal Malay culture scrambling to turn take over the party' to achieve their 'master's' objective.

PAS deputy Ulamak council chief Dr Haron Din's open statement about Anwar and his ways which PAS would not follow is considered an open war…a declaration that may see the two parties parting ways soon.
Anwar would now try to tone down and console PAS leaders as he needs the party's support so much to achieve his ambition to head Putrajaya.

With only DAP support, Anwar may not even managed to win one-third of the total parliament seats to lead him to Putrajaya.
As war with PAS is inevitable, Anwar's party PKR is having problem with DAP in Penang as the DAP views PKR with distrust after knowing the minds of PKR state chief Mansor Othman in the leaked minutes of a meeting in April.

This has affected their co-operation and also created silent animosity between the Chinese and Malay members in PKR as the leaked was certainly done by a Chinese member to gain favour from DAP's Lim Guan Eng.

Thus the scenario in Penang is volatile for PKR while in Selangor, the party is facing an internal squabbles that may see no ending because the 'bad blood' started two years ago during the party election and drags until today.

Given such a scenario, Anwar has no choice but to earn the trust of DAP by doing anything including 'selling the Malay race and religion'.

Karpal Singh Shouts At Anwar

Cronysm and nepotism are few of the accusations which are often made by Pakatan Rakyat towards Barisan Nasional even though they are the ones who practice such things.

As BN leaders who are accused for focusing on their children or nephews and nieces in providing them posts and that all of them had proven that they 'got up there' with through credible processes and legitimately. Moreover, no BN leaders and their family members ever get to hold posts in a same era, proving that they did not get their posts automatically.

Instead, for PR leaders, their children and in laws could simply get appointed for high posts, as if it would be a preparation for them to inherit their parents' throne. It is clear that democracy is something objective in the administration for Pakatan Rakyat and this is proven when their own General Leader was not even appointed through democracy process.

The Shadow Cabinet which was presented by PKR also clearly showed the highest level of nepotism within the party. Anwar Ibrahim who took himself as the future Prime Minister and appoint his wife as the Minister of the Prime Minister's office and his daughter as the Federal Territory's Minister.

To defend PR, Karpal Singh made one of the funniest statement in political history by urging rakyat not to worry with the practice of nepotism practice in PR.

His excuse, all of the wives, children and in-laws of PR leaders who are holding high posts have shown their credibility and qualification. But, at the same time, Karpal also denied that his party acknowledges the list of Shadow Cabinet which was presented by PKR.

This statement was seen as one of the saddest statement ever made by Karpal to justify nepotism practice in PR.

Just what Nurul Izzah has proven to make her qualified to hold the post as Federal Territory's Minister? And is Karpal's rejection towards the Shadow Cabinet rise due to the fact that he thinks that his son, Gobind Singh, deserves the post more than Nurul Izzah?

This is the dilemma which we can see in Karpal where he really want to criticize Anwar's nepotism but even he cannot do such a thing because even his own party does the same thing.

Rakyat is aware on the fact that just like PKR, DAP also practices nepotism where Lim Kit Siang, who used to be the Secretary General and Chairman of the party had ensure that his son, Lim Guan Eng would be as same as he is too. Lim Guan Eng is now DAP's Secretary General cum Chief Minister of Penang and he did not forget to drag his wife, Betty Chew into the political arena as well. Betty Chew is now Melaka's MP and without a doubt, she might just be a Minister if PR rules this country.

The same thing goes to Nik Aziz, Mursyidul Am PAS where he made sure that his son, Nik Abduh follows his success through the post of PAS's Deputy Youth Chief. His son-in-law, Ariff Fahmi in the other hand, follows his step from out of the political world through the post of CEO of PMBK.

Children of BN leaders who are involved in the political world such as Dato' Mukhriz Mahathir and Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak himself had given so much by championing various programs such as entrepreneur, youth and others long before they get to where they are now.

But, what did Nurul, Gobind, Guan Eng or Betty has done to surpass smaller leaders of PKR and DAP who had proven that they deserve important posts within the party and they deserve to be Cabinet Mnisters if PR rules?
